I've been using cloth for about a year now and absolutely love it! I've started to build a bit of a mini stash, but over the last few cycles my pads have all started to stain rather badly. I had a UTI during my last cycle. I usually hand wash my pads/liners in hot water, rinse in cold water, and air dry. Is there anything special I should do when washing them this time to make sure there is no bacteria left? I also used both of my menstrual cups while on my period. Hi everyone!

I'm thinking I would like to make some wetbags, but I don't want to use waterproofing.  I would probably line them with corduroy instead.  I wonder if anyone would use them, or do you need waterproofing?

I'm looking for wetbags right now and have gone through the tag with a few in mind (probably one of the free makeup bags I have at home), but this strange question popped up in my head and would not go away. Would a zippered bag cause leakage in fluid or smell from keeping a used pad? Due to the zipper part? Would velcro be more 'secure'?

Kinda silly but I have a strong natural odor and I don't want to smell it if I don't have to. So I'm a teen who uses cloth. (Anyone else here, lol?) Anyway, we have drug searches in school. I was wondering if a metal dector could pick up the metal snaps on my cloth pads (assuming that I was on my period and had 2-3 in my wetbag.) Hi, I was wondering how you store your pads/cup when you're not on your period at school/work. (I'm keeping some there in anticipation of an emergency.)
